After serving many years, I have integrated the best of what I have learned into a dynamic educational curriculum that addresses the unique issues experienced by helping professionals and the organizations they serve.

As Director of the Institute for Helping Professionals, it is my vision to share this knowledge with others and teach them ways to remain vibrant, effective and connected to their work!

At the Institute, we teach professionals how to:

• Gain insight into the subtle dynamics of the helping relationship
  

• Reconnect with their motivation and purpose for serving others
  

• Handle stress, remain calm and decisive in a pressured situation
  

• See beyond the day to day challenges and find effective solutions  
  

• Bring a sense of clarity, insight and compassion to their relationships
  in the helping environment and improve the quality of services provided
